If weddings are all about running and gunning and doing your best in a situation where you can't control much, then engagement sessions are the EXACT opposite. Engagement sessions are intimate affairs where the most important thing is connecting with the couple to try and bring out emotion. Most aspects of the shoot are controllable - from the poses, to the lighting - but the most important thing to capture moments between this couple who have just decided that they want to spent forever together.
